FAQ.
-
Any shade of window tint, installed or existing on either your front side door windows or the full windshield, is illegal in Alberta.
Unfortunately, even the lightest shades are still illegal.
You are legally allowed to go as dark as you would like on all of your rear windows, though. -
This is normal and to be expected.
We use a gentle solution to install the film, and while evaporating, it’s common to see water bubbles or streaks.
The curing stage can last anywhere from a few hours in the hot weather, up to a full week in colder weather.
If spots or streaks persist after a couple of weeks, this would be considered a defect and replaced under our lifetime warranty coverage.
-
What sets Ceramic Tint apart is the built-in ceramic technology that is designed to deliver improved heat rejection. If heat rejection is your main motive, Ceramic Tint (SunTek’s CIR or Evole) will be your best fit.
Otherwise, our SunTek Carbon film is the same in terms of appearance and quality.
-
Absolutely. There is a lifetime warranty on all of our automotive window tint films.
This covers defects within the product or defects in the installation.
This means you do not have to worry about issues like bubbling, discolouring, peeling, or contamination within the film (such as dirt, hair, etc).
We always want your film looking it’s very best!
-
No, it doesn’t. This is a common misconception regarding ceramic tint.
Ceramic tint and our regular Carbon tint looks the exact same, from inside and out.
You will, however, get greater heat rejection with a lighter Ceramic film than even a darker Carbon film. (More heat rejection without having to go as dark).
-
You want to avoid window cleaner that has ammonia in it, as it can damage the film.
CARPRO CLARIFY Glass Cleaner is safe for films and coatings and is what we personally recommend.

We are proud to offer our clients SunTek Films, which is a professional, North-American made product that is backed by a lifetime warranty.
We carry SunTek’s Carbon, CIR and Evolve series.
-
No! The films that we use are all quality, North American made, professional products.
These films are guaranteed not to turn purple or discolour, which is an issue that is common with low quality window films.
-
Automotive window tint is installed on the inside of the glass.
-
Yes, factory tinted windows are smoked glass (not film) so we can install our film over top.
We recommend doing this to add the UV Protection that factory tint does not provide.
Additionally, it is possible to tint over some aftermarket tint, so long as the existing film is in excellent condition and free of defects.
Otherwise, we would advise removal and reinstall.
Aftermarket window tint is more than style, it’s an upgrade to your vehicle’s glass.
Factory window tint, if your vehicle has it, is only for appearance and doesn’t provide additional benefits. Aftermarket tint offers comfort and protection with 99% UV rejection, glare reduction and heat reduction.
We offer a variety of quality window tint options to choose from, coming in different shades and series that offer different benefits. No matter your choice, each option has the ability to improve the look and performance of window glass in its own way.
With lifetime warranty and experienced technicians, you can rely on Sindicate Auto Salon to provide you with the many benefits that aftermarket window tint provides.

Carbon & Ceramic Window Tint. What’s the Difference?
If you're considering tinting your vehicle, you may have heard about ceramic window tint. But what is ceramic tint and should you be investing in it? What makes it different? Does it deliver on all the buzz?
Ceramic tint is a more technically designed window film, featuring the addition of microscopic ceramic particles.
When comparing the same shade, our SunTek Carbon, CIR, and Evolve films have similar hues and come in a variety of styles that won’t compromise safety or visibility.
All our SunTek films include lifetime warranty and provide similar benefits with UV protection and glare reduction.
So, what’s the difference with a ceramic tint? The main differences between a standard and ceramic film is the heat rejection and price.
A ceramic film will help with one of the main causes of interior discomfort - infrared rays.
This enhanced solar performance and infrared rejection technology reduces more heat than a standard film. This allows you options for more heat rejection without requiring a dark film.
Due to it’s advanced technology, ceramic tint is more costly to produce and therefore, more costly to purchase. However, if maximum heat reduction is your motive, then a ceramic option will absolutely be your best fit.
